KTH kurs för praktiker ”Säkerhet och trygghet i praxis”
KTH kurs ”Säkerhet och trygghet i praxis – lärdom från och för stadsplanerare” är slut.
Vi hade underbara föreläsningar och diskussioner om teori och praktik kring brott och rädsla för brott i den offentliga miljön. Utifrån detta betonar vi ett perspektiv som hänvisar till miljö som ett villkor snarare än bestämmare för brott. På detta sätt kan miljön både förhindra, så väl som uppmuntra till brott. Denna kurs bestod av föreläsningar följda av ’praktiska övningar’ med besök till utvalda offentliga platser i Stockholmsområdet. Besök från internationella forskare var ett viktigt sätt för oss att berika läroplanen och introducera studenter till nya idéer och till några av världens bästa forskare inom situationsbaserad prevention, som till exempel Prof Per Ekblom och Prof Rachel Armitage.
