The First National Workshop ”Kartläggning & analys” – What have we learned?
More than 100 people were registered for the first National Workshop. The room was packed with a good mix of practitioners and academics. Everyone agrees that crime prevention requires knowledge of where the problems exist, how we can identify and chart problems, define solutions, intervene and then evaluate whether we succeeded or not. It is a long process that requires the knowledge and commitment of different actors, organizations and society. On May 15, we focused on “Mapping & Analysis” and this autumn we will continue with a new workshop focused on “Implementing Action against a Problem”, followed by “Methods for Evaluation of the Results”.
